Court deciding on the custody of a child with a special regard to selected institutions of civil law

The court decisions on child's custody - summary The upbringing of children is one of the basic institutes of parenthood. As every legal institute even this one can be approached from different perspectives of legal regulation. This thesis is focused on aspects and consequences of court proceedings and decisions on the child's custody issues in relation with the divorce or separation of parents - as regulated in Sections 26 and 50 of the Act no. 94/1963 Coll., Family Act, as amended. I have chosen this particular topic for personal reasones. From the formal point of view, the thesis is divided into six chapters. In the first chapter, sources of the law and main terms are defined. Furthermore, the current legal regulation of the court's decision on the child's custody is compared to the legal framework, which is yet to come into effect, and in a more details the judicial application of the regulation is analyzed considering the legal and factual relations with the divorce and the parents separation. The second chapter and the third chapter are focused on the outline of the substantive law - the second chapter on the current legal framework, the third chapter on the rules set down in the new civil code. Upbringing of their Hearing Child by Deaf Parents

This bachelor thesis focuses on deaf parents and the upbringing of their hearing children. It discusses the topic of hearing impairment, its consequences and communication systems or hearing compensation people with this disability can use. It also explores the topic of Deaf and CODA individuals and families consisting of a parent or parents with this disability and hearing children. For the last chapter, a research survey was carried out. The author conducted structured interviews with a total of nine informants from six families, who were asked to share their experience with the upbringings of their hearing children. All questions were divided into nine topics and the obtained data were subsequently analysed. The output of this work are partial conclusions and recommendations, which concern both the parents themselves and schools, doctors and organizations dedicated to the deaf. Logotherapy Value in Teaching Pupils of Secundary School

The work deals with the psychological direction of logotherapy. The theoretical part introduces its origins, development and content, in the form logotherapeutic values. These values are elaborated in detail, so that they can be understood by pupils at the senior primary school. Furthermore, it summarizes the stage of development corresponding to the age group of pupils at the senior primary school with respect to both, physical and mental and also neological aspects. The practical part contains an implementation of logotherapeutic values in the education of pupils at the senior primary school in the General Educational Program of basic education. This includes the love, faith, hope, death, suffering and guilt, as understood by logotherapy, in the Ethics Education subject or in the cross-sectional topic of Personality and Social Education.

Education for partnership and parenthood

The thesis deals with the partnership and parenthood. Its goal is to introduce these institutions in interdisciplinary contexts (particularly in terms of pedagogy, psychology, sociology, as well as biology, law and philosophy), with emphasis on current changes and their importance for child and adult personality. It also reveals a possible way to prevent harmful effects on child development through partnership and parenting education and education for mental resilience.
Child education of same-sex partners

This work deals with the child's education same-sex partners and society's view on this issue. The theoretical part describes homosexuality in general, homosexuality from the perspective of Christianity and the law on registered partnership. It also describes the family and the child education in her. It also discusses the development of sexual identity and gender roles, especially the effect on the development of the composition of the parents. The theoretical part concludes with a chapter on the child education of same-sex partner, which also describes some possibilities for the composition of families with homosexual parents. The practical part includes a questionnaire that deals with society's view of homosexuality and child education by homosexual couples. The use of punishments and rewards in raising children

The main subject of this work are forms of rewards and punishments, and their most common use in the upbringing of children by their parents. The theoretical part of this bachelor work is focused on quoting important expertise and definitions that relate to the issue. It deals with the links between upbringing and pedagogical concepts as well as educational styles in the family. Also are described different concepts of rewards and punishments. Practical part is based on a survey. Through the research questions was investigated, which rewards and punishments occure in the society, with what frequency, and how the children perceive these rewards and punishments. The results are presented in tables and graphs, confronted with literature and commented.
Deepening the Relationship of Primary Pupils to Rituals and Traditions Through Art Activities in an After-school Club at the Waldorf Elementary School and Kindergarten in České Budějovice

The thesis focuses on the development of primary pupils? relationship to rituals and traditions through art activities in an after-school club. The first chapter deals with the child and his or her entry to elementary school, different approaches to education, the effect entering a school has on a child and the characteristics of the primary years. Furthermore, the first chapter deals with free time and after-school activities and summarizes the importance of attentive care of children. The second chapter describes Waldorf (also known as Steiner) schools in general, their history and specific features. It also presents the Waldorf Elementary School and Kindergarten in České Budějovice. The third chapter deals with the after-school club at the Waldorf Elementary School and Kindergarten in České Budějovice. It examines its time schedule, daily programme and whether the programme fulfils essential criteria for adequate spending of free time. The fourth chapter focuses on motivation, compares intrinsic and extrinsic motivation and depicts conditions for maintaining the children?s intrinsic motivation. Chapter five deals with art activities and the development of primary children?s drawing skills. The topic of chapter six is traditions and rituals. It discusses different rituals in the course of history and suitable age for introducing children to traditions and rituals. It describes the specific traditions and rituals practised at the Waldorf Elementary School and Kindergarten in České Budějovice. The text is accompanied by a table summarizing these traditions and rituals, including the time of the year, a short description of each and relevant creative activities. Chapter seven is dedicated to advent and the traditions and sayings connected with this period of the year. It presents ideas for creative art activities and shows how an advent calendar can be made for children (rather than bought). From chapter eight onwards comes the practical part. It shows different ways of working with children and motivating them to participate in activities. Chapter nine looks specifically at the advent market, which traditionally takes place in all Waldorf schools, and why these markets are held. In chapter ten, concrete works of children for the advent market, made together with the teachers at the after-school club, are demonstrated. Participation in creating these products deepens the children?s relationship to this traditional event. In the last chapter, the 8th advent market held at the Waldorf Elementary School and Kindergarten in České Budějovice is evaluated.
